Janata Adarsha Multiple Campus

Janata Adarsha Multiple Campus was settled in 2041 B.S. and is located at Pushpalal Chowk, Biratnagar, Morang district of Nepal. It has been running different programs affiliated with Purwanchal University (PU). But JAMC was hand over to Purbanchal University as a constituent campus in 2060 BS. It is recognized by the University Grant Commission of Nepal. Janata Adarsha Multiple Campus offers quality education in the field of Humanities and Social Science. It also provides highly educated, trained, experienced and determined lecturers.

1. Bachelor of Education (BE) : Bachelor of Education (BE) is a 3-year Undergraduate Level Program affiliated with Purbanchal University (PU). The interested candidate who have passed +2 in Education are eligible to pursue the Bachelor of Education course in Janata Adarsha Multiple Campus.
2. Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) : Janata Adarsha Multiple Campus offers Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) affiliated to Tribhuvan University (TU) which comes under the faculty of Humanities and Social Science .
3. M.Sc. in Population Management and Rural Development : It also offers M.Sc. in Population Management and Rural Development affiliated to Tribhuvan University (TU).

Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) Courses Offered by Janata Adarsha Multiple Campus

Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) course is a 4 year Undergraduate Level Programsemester system affiliated with Purwanchal University (PU).

This course was designed to provide knowledge, skills and to be able to work as a competitive social worker and researcher with the basic course, core course, and applied course. Each course has a total of 100 marks which is divided into a 70:30 grading system. BSW covers a total of 120 Credit Hours with in-depth study and practice.

BSW graduates will be able to practice their work from the theoretical knowledge they gain from this program. This course also provides personal and professional learning to work appropriately as a Social Worker in different contexts of Society, communities, and counties.

This course also provides knowledge and confidence to work in micro, mezzo, and macro social work. It also builds student’s ability to think critically in their engagement, assignment, and involvement in their work.

Objective

1. To generate confident and skilled human resource in the field of Social Work.
2. It encourages students to do social work more often.
3. It helps to change people’s lives.

Eligibility Criteria

• Students must complete +2 or any equivalent education from any institution or Board.
• Candidates must pass entrance examination.
