Patan Multiple Campus was established on September 2, 1954, and is located at Lalitpur district is the only constituent campus of Tribhuvan University (TU). It has been successfully conducting Bachelor’s and degree level programs in the morning, day, and evening time under the faculty of Humanities, Science, and Management. There were only twenty-five students at the time of its foundation but after proper awareness in the people, the Campus is running in different shifts.
To meet the needs of some intellectuals regarding higher education among young people, Patan Multiple Campus currently offers Bachelor and Master courses in English, Nepali, Economics, Sociology and Anthropology, Rural Development and Population in Humanities and Social Sciences, Masters of Economics ( MBS) in Management and M.Sc. in Physics at the Institute of Science and Technology (IST) which provide and enable college education for students from different parts of Nepal and abroad.

Bachelor of Social Work in Patan Multiple Campus is a 3-year program affiliated with Tribhuvan University. A student will be able to develop a personality and can be beneficial to develop a positive attitude towards the work. Social work is importantly focused on upgrading the life of the people. Here students will be practically involved in the protection, care, and guidance of the people and help them in solving their daily problems.
