St. Xavier’s College is an educational institute established in 1988 A.D. It is located at Maitighar, Kathmandu which is operated by Nepal Jesuit Society. Since its establishment, it has been giving outstanding results in education system due to which it has made quite a name out of it. It has been offering quality education to students and helps to build a personality. St. Xavier’s College believes that external knowledge is as needed as internal knowledge that we get form text books.

It has been running intermediate level program and many other courses like Bachelor’s Level as well as Master’s level program under the faculty of Humanities and Social Science. Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) Course Offered by St. Xavier’s College

Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) offered by St. Xavier’s College is a 4 year program under the faculty of Humanities and Social Science affiliated with Kathmdnu University (KU) with semester System.

This course helps to know the about the people’s nature and personality. In this course, students are required to complete 90 credit hours of course work and practical cum training. Students are also required to appear for 20 course examination which will lead to a degree from Tribhuvan University. The major objective of the program is to help students develop understanding of all aspects of Social Work Education and Development Studies.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible in this course Students must fulfill the following criteria :

• Students must have passed intermediate level degree
• The candidates must have score D+ in all subjects.
